Welcome to Berkeley Diner & Restaurant. Our staff works hard to give you the finest food with great service.

Berkeley Diner was opened in January 2015 on the foundation of providing locals with an authentic dining experience. With over 30 years of experience serving thousands of satisfied individuals all around New Jersey, we have decided to bring this experience to the lovely town of Bayville, NJ.

Our journey began when my father opened his very first diner in 1975 in Old Bridge under the name of Glenwood Diner (which is now Bridgeway Diner). After he sold it, he moved down into Lakewood and opened up the Madison Family Restaurant in 1991 on Route 9. At this time I became more involved with the ins and outs of the restaurant business. Later on, he sold Madison and moved into Forked River. In 2003 we had the neat idea of opening up a diner in Lacey by the name of Riverside Diner on 208 Route 9 South. It was our very first 24-Hour joint. In 2009, we sold it for an offer we couldn't refuse. In that same year, my father opened up Airport Diner (next to the DMV) in Lakewood. I was enjoying my vacation up until 2014 when I saw the opportunity to get back into the diner business. I didn't hesitate to open up Berkeley Diner in 2015.
